The story is set in the fictional town of Tarker's Mills, Maine. A werewolf is viciously killing people and animals and strange incidents take place at each full moon. The otherwise normal town is living in fear. The protagonist of the story is Marty Coslaw, an eleven-year-old boy in a wheelchair. The story goes back and forth from the terrifying incidents to Marty's youthful day-to-day life and how the horror affects him.

Livro pra passar o tempo

Não é nada espetacular, mas é aquele livro pra ler quando vc não tem nada pra fazer ou ler o terror é fraco mas a história é interessante, tendo cada capítulo um conto diferente mas em ordem cronológica nos dois livros que eu li de stephen king, é sempre uma criança que tem relevância na história, e esse não foi diferente enfim, mesmo sendo um livro que eu gostei, achei bem cansativo, já que li em inglês e sempre considerei a escrita de king cansativa de ler em geral, um bom livro... leia mais
