An important book that should be read for everyone
So visceral and raw, this books shows us, specially the white people, all things we are doing wrong, but also things we do correctly. However, do not expect a pet in your head while reading Austin Channing Brown's words, because you will feel disappointed. This is a book to read when you want to make changes in your life. Don't read it if you are not willing to do so.

Also, I feel obligated to mention that I was very surprised when the author said that there are some people who don't know about the slavery period or the extension of the pain experienced by the slaves. Fortunately, in Brazil, it is not so common this kind of blindness! I've never seen such a thing, but I envy the courage to say that you didn't know or worst: that you don't think it was that much.
