Hirano to Kagiura #3 (Hirano to Kagiura)

The story continues from where the novel ends, soon after the cultural festival. Kagiura gets sick and Hirano tells him to stay and rest rather than go to practice, and Kagiura reluctantly agrees. However, Kagiura gets frustrated when his team loses in a preliminary game and gets knocked out of a tournament, and Hirano helps him work through his feelings on the matter.

Hirano later leaves on a field trip, and the two muse about being separated, Hirano in particular wondering what he should get Kagiura for his birthday. In the end the two go see a basketball game for Kagiura's birthday, and Kagiura confesses his feelings to Hirano--but Hirano misunderstands, thinking Kagiura is talking about basketball.
