One Was Stubborn

Old Shellback is the most stubborn man in the universe. When he sees things disappearing, he goes in for an eye exam - he simply wants glasses. But the doctor says he's depressed and should see the new Messiah, who claims that things are vanishing because he wants them to go away. He has no more use for the world. Say goodbye! But Old Shellback has a different idea, and stubborn as he is, he decides that two can play this game.
